OUR HISTORY
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is a fully government-owned and controlled entity operating under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines.PAGCOR was established during the Martial Law era through Presidential Decree No. 1067-A, issued by then-President Ferdinand Marcos. The decree was a response to the increasing number of illegal casino operations across the country. Subsequently, PAGCOR's governing law was amended and consolidated under Presidential Decree No. 1869, also known as the PAGCOR Charter.
